After the whole situation with the Boston Marathon Bombings the entire cast list reveal was postponed for about a week and a half. Though, as of Thursday I found out I was cast in Lizzie Bright and The Buckminster Boy, the Sheriff, a supporting character. I’ll admit when I first found out I was a bit upset. I had thought I was going to be getting something else in a different show. It was an assumption based on the vibe I received after my audition, I really thought I nailed it.
But as reality sunk in I, of coursed, realized I was lucky and privileged to get anything at all. And, truthfully, it means a hell of a lot to be cast in two EmStage shows throughout my very short time there. So, I feel good. I’m excited for the fall and to start working on the show.
Yesterday I spent my day filming for a short thesis film called For Emma. It centers around a guy named Alex who is lonely and distraught after loosing his girlfriend that he finds a way to clone her, thinking it will fill his void and replace Emma entirely. Although, things don’t turn out the way he hoped….
This was a very fun project. I’ll post the finished product once I get it.
Landed the role of Mark in a short film entitled A Better Fate. It’s a leading role and I will be getting paid for it! So, pumped. Between now and the month of May I will be in three short films staring in all of them.
